📜 How to Play

1. Multi-Category Era Grid:

Jump straight into the match! Every square on the 3×3 grid has its own unique Category and Era (e.g. Movies from the 70s, Music from the 2020s, World History from 700 BCE, Cars from the 60s).

2. The Goal & 30-Second Timer:

Claim 3 squares in a row to win! The 30-second timer begins only once the question and options appear on screen (beeping in the last 10 seconds).
• Easy: 3 choices
• Medium: 4 choices
• Hard: 5 choices

3. NEW Stealing Rule (Min 5 Squares Taken):

A square can be stolen ONLY after at least 5 squares on the board have been claimed! Before 5 squares are taken, players must claim open squares or reinforce their own. Once 5 squares are claimed, stealing unlocks for any unlocked opponent square!

4. Reinforcing & 2× Permanent Lock (🔒):

Tap an open square to Claim it. Tap your own square to Lock it permanently (🔒 Locked) so it cannot be stolen for the rest of the game!

5. Universal Turn Passing:

Whether you get the answer right or wrong, the turn passes to the next player. Solo practice matches are casual and unranked; 2-player matches count toward the leaderboard!
